Enjoying teatime

One of my favorite moments of the day is when I get to enjoy a nice cup of tea. I drink all kinds, but mostly I prefer green teas and white teas.

Lately, I have been enjoying this one from Harney and Sons. It's a green tea called "Citron (lemon) Green".

If I'm at home, I like to put on some wonderful music, such as piano or harp. Often, I listen to Jim Gibson's music, and this cd is one I really enjoy.

A soothing cup of tea along with lovely music somehow instantly takes any care I have to a far away place. Isn't teatime wonderful? I sure think it is!

In fact, I like teatime by myself, just as much as I like teatime with a group of friends...

But my very favorite way to enjoy teatime is to share it with a very special loved one.

May you enjoy tea and special friends to warm your heart today and always!

:)

It was finally cool enough here today to make me want a cup of tea with my lunch. I am looking forward to many more. I like your idea of playing some good music while having tea. Sounds like a perfect combination to me.

I am not a hot tea drinker but my husband is. I prefer coffee. You sure described a nice relaxing time!

I've been a coffee drinker for years, but never really have had much hot tea. It sounds like it would be healthier. :)
Every now and then I have a cup of hot tea when I'm not feeling well.
What kinds of tea do you enjoy? Do you add things to it....sugar, cream? I just drink it plain when I make it and it's a little bland.

I've never even heard of Jim Gibson. I'm going to have to check this out. I also love being by myself and having music playing.
I love Kenny G.

Thanks for your sweet comment. I had a great time with my sister.

Hope you're doing well. I think about you often.

Have a great week.

Love,
Valerie

Valerie, to answer your question, yes actually, I do put something in my tea. I always put a teaspoon of honey. It adds a nice touch of sweetness to it. :)

Truly a Lady after my own Heart.
Nothing I enjoyed more than afternoon tea.
I took my parents in law to Langhams in London for a real English tea. it was the most amazing experience, it was taken in the Palm Court which was awarded Tea Guild membership, a distinction of outstanding afternoon tea.
Thank you for your visit.
